Grammar in Depth (vol.1) provides in-depth explanations of many of the grammatical elements and sentence structures. This volume also explains some basic grammatical concepts of the Japanese language.

You can listen to the audio recordings for the vocabulary, conversation, activities, and listening sections in each lesson.

Instructors can have their students watch these videos before class to make time for more context-based, practical activities in the classroom (that is, to implement a flipped classroom). Students can also use these videos in a variety of other ways, including review and self-study.
